Occultation of Saturn by the Moon — 15 October 1997

Occultation of Aldebaran by the Moon — 6 February 1998

Observers at IUCAA, Pune timed the occultation using a Celestron C8 and a 3-inch refractor. The ear-and-eye timings were reported to David and Joan Dunham, with Jyotirvidya Parisanstha members participating.

SAO 162764 occulted by Venus — 20 March 1998

An unusual predicted occultation from Pune was investigated through manual calculations and CCD observations at IUCAA. The brightness difference between Venus and the magnitude 8.5 star made direct timing difficult.

Double occultation of Venus and Jupiter by the Moon — 23 April 1998

The event formed part of the early visual and photographic archive maintained by the India Section.

Partial occultation of crescent Venus by the crescent Moon — 21 May 2004

The observing team travelled north from Pune toward the GMRT region near Khodad to reach the event geometry and recorded the partial occultation.

1243 Pamela and TYC 5507-01020-1 — 4 February 2013

A 180-second Canon 7D exposure, synchronized to NIST time, recorded a break in the star trail measured at approximately 11 seconds.

Bobrovnikoff and TYC 1766-01017-1 — 10 December 2014

Five observing locations were selected to sample the asteroid shadow. One team recorded the occultation using a Skywatcher 8-inch reflector and Canon 5D Mark II.

106 Dione and HIP 12740 — 3 October 2015

An India team worked alongside experienced international observer Paul Maley near Delhi, using video equipment with synchronized computer and recorder timing.

The lunar emersion of Jupiter was observed at approximately 18:08 IST.
